|

Scott J. Corwin, A Professional Law Corporation remains open and available for legal help and representation through the current COVID-19 public health crisis. Please see below for some frequently asked questions from current and prospective clients.

Q. Is the firm open and taking new accident and injury cases?

A. Yes, our firm is open and taking new accident and injury cases. We are here to help you.

Q. Can I sign up with an attorney for my case without going into an office?

A. Yes, clients can sign up and retain our firm without going into the office. In fact, pursuant to the California Governor’s Statewide Stay At Home Order our physical office is closed. But we can chat with you online or via email. And talk via telephone at (310) 683-2300.

Q. Do you offer digital, remote free consultations?

A. Yes, we offer remote access free consultations via email or chat.

Q. I’ve been injured in a car accident, will my case take longer because of the public health crisis?

A. We are not certain the impact of the public health crisis on resolution of accident and injury claims. Insurance companies are open for business via remote access. However, the Courts have been substantially restricted and are closed except for emergency matters until further notice. However, since we resolve 99% of our cases without the need for going to court, this has no effect on our ability to help you with your case. We also have many doctors open for business and treating patients, taking extreme precautionary measures including using masks, gloves and sanitizing offices and all equipment.

Q. Is my current car accident claim on hold during the Covid-19 public health crisis?

A. No, your claim is not on hold during the Covid-19 public health crisis. We are moving client claims forward every day.
